About Ali

Memories of casual but elegant tables set by my Mum, British afternoon teas with scones, those special gatherings with family and friends. These are all part of the inspiration for my tabletop accessories and serving wares.

The wooden tabletop accessories are crafted using Maple or Cherrywood. The Cynthia Collection (named after my Mum) features original abstract paintings created using mineral paint. I like to create my artwork intuitively, so that each artwork has its own distinct character. The finished artwork is sealed in a food safe varnish, which can be wiped clean. The Mosaic Collection is a beautiful curated selection of papers from Japan and Tibet arranged in a collage style reminiscent of a quilt, and sealed to protect the design.

I have developed a love for wood and all the gorgeous varieties’. I want the natural grains and colours to be as interesting as the art I create on each piece.
